Here’s a look at some PR highlights from September
Monday Motivation - Getting Better Requires Feedback
The absolute best way to improve is by receiving constructive feedback. Your coaches and I want to hear from you. Our goal is to provide a 10/10 experience when you walk through the doors at Blue Eagle... EVERY... SINGLE... TIME!
Motivation Monday - Filling Your Feed
I write these Motivation Monday emails to encourage you as you start your week. I often need motivation myself... or at least reminders that life is not supposed to be rainbows and unicorns every day.
Saying Great Things about Yourself Even If It's Make Believe
Here are some ways to improve saying positive affirmations to yourself, especially during personal training sessions.
Monday Motivation - A Life Well Lived
If you want to take more control over your health, get started with our personal training and nutrition program that has helped dozens of Fulshear, Richmond, and Katy residents lose weight, get toned, and feel great!
Habit Stacking My Morning Routine
Starting the new year strong is easier to do when you start your morning strong. I use a technique called habit-stacking to get my mind right and ready to face the day.
I tweaked my shoulder, now what??
It's not a topic that we like talking about. A lot of us think that if we are in a perfect program with perfect coaching we should never get injured. I don't disagree with that theory but let me tell you a little bit about my story and see if it resonates with you, and we'll go from there.
“Foodie Friday” and “Bob’s Tacos!”
“Foodie Friday” and “Bob’s Tacos!” How do you build friendships through food and workouts? Listen to Coach Bruce Sampson talk about connecting with people changes lives.
Our #1 Job as Coaches? Showing You Reality!!
Do you know how special you really are? Most of us oscillate between thinking too highly of ourselves and not thinking highly enough. The #1 job of coaches at Blue Eagle is to help you see the reality of where you really are in your abilities.
Flipping Tractors (Not Just the Tires)
Clancie Harbers coaches the senior adult Forever Fierce class at Blue Eagle Fitness & Nutrition. Learn more about Clancie’s baby filly and longhorn on her farm. She may have also flipped a tractor in the ditch. Learn what three (maybe four?) things she would have if stranded on a desert island and what she does to live a healthy lifestyle. What is the one book that has had the greatest impact on her life?
Navigating Uncertainty
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. A saying that you are probably familiar with.
Throughout our lives, we are forced to deal with ambiguous situations. Maybe you are starting a new job or going to your first day of school and you are unclear what you are supposed to do. Perhaps you are a business owner and a global pandemic prevents you from offering your services to your customers. While dealing with unfavorable situations can be challenging, it can also offer us an opportunity to learn and help develop us into a better person or business. The next time you are dealing with an uncertain situation, try to be positive and make the best of it…you just might learn a new skill that you can use in the future.
