Welcome to March, CrossFit warriors! We're smack dab in the middle of the 2024 CrossFit Open, and if you've signed up, get ready to test your fitness prowess alongside the global CrossFit community. But hey, even if you're just in it for the sheer fun of it, fear not! You'll still get a chance to throw down within our regular class schedule and at our Blue Eagle Open events. If you’re out there soaking up the sun on Spring Break, we'll still be here, sweating it out and cheering each other on! We hope you can make it.

February Rewind

Gymnastics Seminar 🤸‍♀️

It was so awesome getting to host a gymnastic seminar for the whole month of February. We had some incredible athletes join us. Let's rewind and celebrate some of last month's victories with all of our gymnastic seminar finishers and participants!

1RM Snatch and Clean & Jerk 🏋️‍♂️

Speaking of pushing limits, February was all about strategizing to smash our personal records for the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. And guess what? On Wednesday, February 28th, we put our strength to the test in the Olympic Lifting Total workout. Here's a glimpse of the epic results!

Great work you guys! Although not everyone’s personal best was highlighted, your attendance and encouragement helped someone else to reach new heights.

March Goals

March will continue with the CrossFit Open. Think of this as our year-round fitness test and competition. Not only are we joining the broader online CrossFit community in participating in the Open, we get to track our own personal goals as a fitness assessment of our ability. Now, for all you first-timers diving into the Open, here's lowdown for our week to week plan:

  • Workouts will revolve around the Open workouts (posted Thursdays at 2PM CST from CrossFit HQ), so expect a slight taper in volume and intensity on those days.

  • If you can’t make it to a Blue Eagle Open event, you will still be able to do the Open workouts Friday, March 8th and Friday, March 13th. We will run classes as normal however, we will divide classes into two heats to allow you to judge and be judged during your workout experience.

AND MARK YOUR CALENDARS for the grand finale on Sunday, March 23rd, as we unleash the finale of the Blue Eagle Open! Get ready for a showdown of strategy and intensity as teams go head-to-head in a sweaty, adrenaline-fueled battle. We can't wait to see who emerges victorious!

March Focus

  • Welcome to February! This month’s focus is Completing the CrossFit Open.

  • Classes will build on last month’s 1-rep-max snatch and clean and jerk lifts to continue to work on consistency at heavier loads.

  • Expect simpler, lower-intensity workouts on Thursdays and Saturdays to account for the Open workouts on Fridays.

  • Friday Night Lights 24.2: Friday, March, 8 @ 5:30PM

  • CrossFit Open Event 24.3: Sunday, March, 17 @ 2PM

  • Community Workout (No Faith RXD): Saturday, March, 9

  • Lady Workout “Farah”: Tuesday, March, 26
