Monday Motivation - One "Hard" Thing
Happy Monday, Blue Eagle!
I listened to a podcast last week with a woman who seems to have mastered the art of balance. She’s built and sold multiple consulting businesses for millions, raised four kids, and even went to culinary school in her spare time. Impressive, right?
Secret of Success
When she was asked her secret, she smiled and said, “Every day, I commit to doing one hard thing.”
I expected something more complex, but her explanation was gold. She said, “If you choose just one hard thing a day, you’ll usually pick the one task that will push you forward the most in your life. Not two things, not three. Just one.”
It hit me how powerful that could be—365 hard things in a year. Imagine the progress.
5 Factors of Health
But here's the twist: your "hard thing" can touch any aspect of your health and life. It might be eating a healthy, balanced meal when you're tempted to grab fast food. Maybe it's getting up early for that workout even though you’d rather sleep in. Or perhaps it's setting aside time to build and nurture relationships with people who support you.
The key is to focus on that one thing—whether it's training, fueling your body right, resting, or making time for meaningful connection. Small daily wins build massive momentum over time.
Decide on your one hard thing. Then go do it.
