Motivation Monday - Who Are You Influencing?

Happy Monday, Blue Eagle!

This weekend, Celesta was out of town, so I took my three daughters to watch my oldest swim at a meet in The Woodlands. We drove an hour, dropped off Kaeli, then I spent an hour with my two youngest for them to eat an early dinner. After they ate, we went to the natatorium to watch Kaeli swim, which took about another hour. When Kaeli was changed and dry, we went to a restaurant for her and me to eat dinner. Our dinner took another hour.

In all, I had spent about five hours with my three daughters. None of whom cared about anything I had to say until... Our waitress delivered our check.

She was an excellent waitress, which caused my middle daughter to ask about the right amount to tip.

Five hours of silence... or the occasional whining... or the ignoring of my thoughts that I thought might interest them... silence until they wanted to learn something.

Silence until they wanted to talk about tipping.

Every day I influence my kids and my wife. Every week I influence my parents, coaches, and you. Every month, I influence friends and acquaintances who I see less often.

Did you know people are watching you even when they are silent?

Who are you influencing? And what do they see?

PS. If you have friends, parents, or grandparents, who want to get stronger, live healthier, and make new friends, we have recently started new classes for Forever Fierce. You can reply to this email with their contact information, and Coach Clancie will reach out for their free class.

Have a great week!
