Monday Motivation - Measure the Milestones

Happy Monday, Blue Eagle!

This weekend marked graduation weekend for my senior at Jordan High School. We had a great time celebrating her athletic, academic, and personal accomplishments over the past eighteen years. Plenty of her friends and adults who played a role in shaping the young woman she has become came to our house to celebrate. Celesta and I are very proud of Kaeli. 

High school graduation does not mark the end of her journey. It is only a milestone, a stop along her way.

Milestones

This is what milestones are: stops along our way. Some milestones help us celebrate what we have accomplished, some help us reflect on how things could have gone differently, and some are an excuse to take pictures! :)

The “Murph” Workout

Next week, we will celebrate an annual milestone when we do the "Murph" hero workout on Monday, Memorial Day, May 27, at 9 AM. Just like Aannabelle's 5k run in March was a milestone for our running, the Murph workout is a milestone for body weight workouts.

Invite Friends, Family, and Neighbors

Murph is also an excellent opportunity to invite family, friends, and neighbors who enjoy working out but might be intimidated by barbells. We will have several options for beginner athletes, more seasoned athletes, and higher-level athletes. We will also have light snacks, drinks, and fruit!
