Motivation Monday - Progress Is Progress

Ebbs & Flows

Happy Monday, Blue Eagle!

There are ebbs and flows in life. Sometimes we are busy, especially this time of year. Kids are graduating college, high school, or maybe even kindergarten! Events are being celebrated, like dance recitals, musical performances, and spring sports championships.

Maybe you are out of your normal routine, or maybe you are looking to get into a new routine as summer approaches. 

My advice

Take care of yourself as best you can and give yourself grace when things don't work out perfectly.

Motion Is Lotion

Get to the gym as often as possible. Motion is lotion, and movement is medicine. You know this is true for our bodies. Did you know this is true for our mindset and emotions as well?

When you can't make it as often as you'd like, give yourself grace. If you know you're having a stressful week, show up to the gym just to move. This was my day today. I did not set a PR in one of my favorite workouts. That's OK. I know my body was recovering from the stress of watching my daughter play water polo all weekend in her most important tournament of the year. 

Progress Is Progress

I came in and got to move, though! Progress is progress... no matter how small.
