Gymnastics Seminar: Pull-ups

Ready to fly like an Eagle this year?? 🦅👊💥

In this 4-week session, we will delve into all things related to pull-ups. To start, we'll unpack key core and support positions both on the floor and on the bar. From there, we'll break down the pull-up, focusing on the necessary musculature and technique required for strict execution. Next, we'll explore the kipping pull-up, delving into how to generate an explosive kip to assist in achieving chin-over-bar height. This will lead us into the chest-to-bar pull-up, covering techniques for cycling multiple reps and achieving a successful kip swing. Finally, we'll explore bar muscle-ups, the pinnacle of pull-up exercises that lifts our bodies atop the bar.

Throughout the sessions, we'll cover aspects that may not be explored fully in a standard 1-hour weekly group class. If you prefer individual attention, we also provide one-on-one training. Yet, in this seminar, we're enhancing the experience with a great group atmosphere with 8-12 participants, extended 1.5-hour sessions, detailed homework assignments, and a roadmap for future development post-course.

This program is for the skeptical seeker who wants to learn more about pull-ups and what it takes to do them. It's also for the eager teacher passionate about gymnastics and movement, seeking to understand the tools of the trade in coaching. Additionally, this program caters to the adventurous athlete aiming to PR in the Open this year or set themselves up for success in their next workout.
