2 Ways to Give Focused Attention: at Home & at Work

One of the best ways to give focused attention to a particular task is to time it. Set a timer for 20-30 minutes. Work on one (and only one!) task for that specific period of time. When the timer goes off… take a 5 min break. I recommend taking a walk or cleaning the house for five minutes if you are at home.

Repeat this process four-to-six times and you have stayed focused on tasks for about two hours.
