When, What, How and Where?

  • Monetary donations of $25 will be accepted for Stuff The Sleigh. Money is their biggest need. Learn more here: Should We Do Charity Fundraising Workouts?

  • Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 9-11 AM

  • Three 12-minute workouts with an 8-minute break in between. We will be in teams of three (3). This is a great opportunity to invite friends, family, and neighbors.

  • Register and donate when you arrive at Blue Eagle Fitness & Nutrition. Our address is 30415 5th St, Fulshear, TX 77441. We are located directly behind the U.S. Post Office.

Event #1: Jingle All the G2OH

Partners split work as desired.

AMRAP 12

Buy-in:

  • Row 800 m per Male & 600 m per Female

  • Complete a total of 300 jump rope

In the remaining time…

  • Ground-to-overhead (G2OH) for a maximum number of repetitions.

Score = total G2OH reps

STANDARDS:

  • The rowing can be split as desired and does not have to be evenly distributed.

  • The jump rope starts only after the rowing is complete.

  • The rope must pass under the feet 300 times, i.e., 300 single-unders, 150 double-unders, or 100 triple-unders. The work may be split as desired and does not have to be evenly distributed.

  • Men = 45 lbs. Ladies = 25 lbs.

  • Begin G2OH only rowing meters and jump ropes are complete

  • Each person will have his/her own plate, but only one person at a time can touch their plate with their hands

  • The rep starts by touching the ground, ending with full lockout overhead and head "through the window" (arms aligned with ears).

Event #2:  “Burpee Bash”

Teams may split the work as desired, with up to two (2) athletes working at a time.

Buy-in: 

  • 60 Burpee wall balls over the wood

  • 60 Burpee “box tops”

In the remaining time…

  • Burpee pull-ups

Score = total reps Burpee pull-ups

STANDARDS:

  • Men = 20 lbs. wall ball | Women = 10 lbs. wall ball

  • Box overs use 20” boxes

  • Athletes may use boxes or plates such that their head is no more than 6” from the pull-up bar

Begin standing with the wall ball on the ground.  At 3, 2, 1, Go… 

  • Two athletes may work at a time. Wall balls and box tops can be done simultaneously

  • Lay entirely on the ground with thighs and shoulders on the floor. Stand up and grab the wall ball. Throw the wall ball above the wood. The wall ball must land on the ground before the next burpee is started

  • Two feet must touch the top of the box to count the rep

  • After lying on the ground with thighs and shoulders on the floor, jump such that two hands grab the bar and pull your chin over 

Event #3: “Sleighbell Slam”

AMRAP 12

Buy-in:

5 Rounds

  • D-ball run around the telephone pole

  • 5 rounds of snake-style D-ball cleans

In the remaining time…

  • D-ball slams with the ball going overhead

Score = total reps D-ball slams

STANDARDS:

  • All Men & M/M/W = 40 lbs.

  • All Women and M/W/W = 20 lbs.

Begin with a D-ball on the ground behind the line.  At 3, 2, 1, Go… 

Person 1 picks up the D-ball, runs around the pole, hands to person #2, who runs and hands to person #3

After person #3 returns, the team performs five D-ball clean snake with all three teammates. 

After five (5) rounds, D-ball slams are performed with work split as desired.

The D-ball Slam rep starts with the D-ball on the ground, being lifted overhead, and returning to the ground.
