Sleep Opportunity
Sleep
Lots of us struggle with getting enough sleep. Have you ever laid in bed, you're tossing and turning, that starts to stress you out and it becomes this never-ending cycle of stress, can't sleep, stress, can't sleep?
Instead of thinking about getting sleep, which we can't always control, think about sleep opportunity, Think about the time that you go to bed, lights are out, eyes are closed, and count that as the time that you're trying to sleep.
Instead of freaking out about, "Hey, I'm not asleep," and then tossing and turning for an hour, or "I keep waking up in the middle of the night," try to get seven to eight hours of sleep opportunity.
If you're already doing that, try to add 15 minutes this week of sleep opportunity. So you're in bed at 10 and waking up at 5, try to get in bed at 9:45.
