Monday Motivation - Two Perspectives (Which Are You?)

Happy Monday, Blue Eagle!

When you think about accomplishing a goal, I can almost guarantee your perspective falls into one of two categories.

1. What is the least amount of time, effort, and dedication I can give and still get results?

For thousands of years, people have been asking this type of question. The Bible tells us multiple stories of people asking Jesus, Moses, or another prophet, some version of “How good do I need to be to get to please God or get to heaven?” Jesus gives the best answer, of course. He tells Jews they need to love Samaritans (Jews hated Samaritans). And a rich prince is told to sell all of his belongings.

Two thousand years ago, Jesus’s point was to ask a better question, which is the second category.

2. What do I need to do to almost guarantee results?

I say “almost guarantee” because not eerything can be guaranteed. For example, you will have a difficult time making it to the NBA if you’re only five feet tall, no matter your time, effort, and dedication. But most of us do not ask this second question.

When it comes to changing our body composition, having more muscle and less fat, we will get better results working out 4-6 times a week and eating vegetables every meal. These habits almost guarantee results. If you're doing these things and not happy with your results, reply to this email and let me know. Let's see what else we may need to change while keeping you happy!

If changing your eating habits is interesting to you, I recommend emailing Nutrition Coach Amy at
