Monday Motivation - Having Fun is Fun! :)

Happy Monday, Blue Eagle!

Yesterday afternoon, I ran, hiked, climbed, swam, dunked, crawled, and pulled myself through my first Spartan race. I was joined by my teammates Amy, Angie, and Georgia. We had a blast!

I work out because I want to live a longer, happier, and healthier life. And I know without a shadow of a doubt that Blue Eagle's coaching and program gives me this longer, happier, and healthier life.

Another reason I work out is because I like to have fun. I like signing up for a physical challenge I have never done before, like a Spartan Sprint 5k, and I can do it... without special training... without feeling beat up afterward.  

One of my favorite people is Daniel Thornton. You may know his daughter, Mia, who is now away at college or his mom Hilda. Daniel is not a big fan of warming up before his workouts. But he is a super-happy fan of the fitness that Blue Eagle gives him. He can go on hikes with his buddies every year without specialized training. Before starting his workouts with us, he would have to train specifically for his hikes.
