Here is what’s happening at CrossFit Blue Eagle, the best gym in Fulshear! The holiday season is here, and we’re excited to bring the Blue Eagle community together with special events and challenging workouts to close out the year on a high note! Here's what to expect this December.
Christmas Party 🎉
Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 14, from 6-10 PM, as we celebrate the season with our annual Christmas party! This is a wonderful opportunity to relax, connect with fellow members, and enjoy some festive cheer. Bring your holiday spirit (and maybe your favorite holiday dish to share) as we celebrate another amazing year at Blue Eagle.

CrossFit Benchmark “Lady” WOD
Kelly
It is a classic benchmark workout that tests endurance and consistency.
5 Rounds for Time (30:00 cap):
400m Run
30 Box Jumps w/ step-downs (24/20 in)
30 Wall Balls (20/14 lbs)
Scaling Options:
Shortened runs
Reduced weights and reps
Fewer total rounds
💡 Pro Tip: Stay steady and manage your rest between sets to keep moving. Avoid long breaks and consider splitting wall balls into smaller, manageable sets.
Strength Development
Back Squats
December’s strength focus is the Back squat as part of our Wendler 5/3/1 program.
On your last set, aim for an AMRAP (As Many Reps As Possible) but stay “heavy” — the goal is to push yourself without compromising form. The sumo deadlift is excellent for maximizing strength and will prepare you for even heavier lifts as we head into the new year.
