+ What will my first session at Blue Eagle be like?

You will meet with one of our professional coaches to talk about you, your goals, and the best plan to fit your needs. That plan will be tailored to YOU, and it will include at least three personal training sessions so you and your coach can implement your plan TOGETHER.

+ Why is Blue Eagle more expensive than the "discount" gym open 24 hrs a day?

If you're looking for the cheapest gym, we may not be a good fit. We help busy people get fit by offering programs that deliver results in the most efficient way possible. We have a "Success Wall" with clients who LOOK great, FEEL great, and feel CONFIDENT. Our clients have gotten lean, gained energy, and now look forward to getting out of bed every morning. + What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a lifestyle characterized by safe, effective exercise and sound nutrition. CrossFit can be used to accomplish any goal, from improved health to weight loss to better performance. The program works for everyone — people who are just starting out and people who have trained for years. Workouts are different every day and tailored to the individual. We use safe, effective, and efficient movements similar to those you use every day in life. The magic is in the movements and the supportive community.

+ What’s your drop-in policy?

We love having experienced CrossFitters from out of town join us for a workout. If you are just passing through, we charge a drop in fee of $30 per workout. Please complete the waiver, which is in the dropdown menu of our website. You can find our schedule in the dropdown menu as well.

+ How often do you recommend I workout?

The number of days you should start with depends on your current fitness level. One of the things you will dicuss with your coach in your free introduction is this exact topic. Most people start with 3 days/week and then build up from there. Our programming is designed such that many clients attend classes 6 days a week.

+ Do I need to "get in shape" before I start CrossFit?

CrossFit workouts are tailored to the indiviudal, so you do not need too "get in shape" before starting. After your introduction, you will start with at least three (3) one-on-one personal training sessions. These sessions are designed to get your body to start acclimating to CrossFit. We will also start tailoring workouts to fit your abilities. We work with all types of people: teens as young as 14, senior adults as old as 90, long-time CrossFitters, injured athletes, and people getting off the couch for the first time. There is a place for you here no matter your currentl fitness level.

+ Can I work out on my own during class?

All of our classes are coach-led because that's the most effective way of delivering results. We only offer classes and personal training. We do not offer an open gym.

+ I just relocated/looking for a new gym and I’d like to check you out prior to joining.

If you are experienced CrossFitter, we offer a complimentary day. If you feel Blue Eagle Fitness & Nutrition is the right gym for you, we’ll get you started on our On-Ramp program.
